Today I blogged over where my cool group of fellowSouthern Authors blog.

You should come on over – I have cleverly buried a contest under all the yapping.

can't help you with the song. I "hear" music differently than other people too and can never figure out what THEY mean. My husband is always humming songs to me and they don't sound ANYTHING like what I hear. But you always make me laugh. I can't figure out if I wish I lived in your world or I'm glad I don't. I'm very glad you share...

Jen -- Run, don't walk, to your library/bookstore and snag a copy of Oliver Sacks's Musicophilia (sp?) He's the highly entertaining neurologist who wrote Awakenings and The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and has brought together the most amazing studies on the different ways people hear music. Fascinating and entertaining and reassuring, if you don't seem to be hearing what everyone else is.

i have a couple of suggestions for your not orange iPod:

Once More with Feeling (because you can never get tired of hearing the Parking Ticket song)

the score to Buffy was recently released.

and, of course, Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog.

you would also probably like Brandi Carlile, she has pretty lyrics.
