OMW to Portland today. BY TRAIN! WHich I have never done, so that will be cool.

OH Yeah, I DID forget to tell you who won the virtual signing.
Scott will be mailing the prizes out this week. They went to Clayton M. in DENVER and Pam S. in---I forget. Scott has the addies. HEH. But I think there was only ONE Pam with a last initial S who entered so she should know I DO mean her. I will add her city in a little when Scott is home and can tell me.

Congrats to them both!
I am GUEST BLOGGING at Seattle Mystery Bookshop today

Here is the blog,
And here is he PIC that goes with the blog:

I am so, so sad I won't be at your Portland signing!! I did a dance of joy when I discovered you were going to be at Powell's...but I have an orchestra rehearsal at the exact same time. :-(

I will be there in spirit, however (when rehearsal inevitably goes down the drain, I will think of my happy place--Powell's, with TGWSS awesomeness added to the mix). Hopefully I'll catch you on your next tour.

Great interview! Spooky about the small town. Rough neighborhood doesn't sound like it begins to cover it.

Hope you have/had a happy train ride, dear Joss, never done that myself either.

I have one or two pictures of the Lovely and Beautiful Joss over at my blog if anyone wants to see them. Along with one of the Quilt.

And she's just as wonderful in person as you'd expect! Tammy and I are still floating and basking in the wonderfulness that is Joshilyn!

Just finished TGWSS! Loved it! Now you have me perplexed. I feel like I don't know my Alabama history well enough to figure out what small town it is... it can only be within a small window if it's only 3 hours from you... now i'm going to be up half the night thinking about it.

I was heart broken when I found out I wouldn't be able to make it to Powells. It was the question of a Colonoscopy or Powells. My doctor said the Colonoscopy won out.

So enjoyed meeting you in Seattle at Third Place Books. That quilt is spectacular!

This week has been too crazy for me to read, but after hearing your process on writing TGWSS and how your friend called you a coward, I'm sooo anxious for Saturday to get here so I can read it.

Still love those fantastic shoes...
