Guest Blogging Again

Beloveds, today you can find me on my group blog, A GOOD BLOG IS HARD TO FIND. I'm blogging there every six weeks or so, but I will give you a heads up here when it is field trip day for Kudzu. AGBIHTF is a consortium of southern authors, a lot of whom I have read and whose work I really like, including, just to name a few off the top of my head, Cassandra King, Silas House, Mindy Friddle, Julianna Baggott, Patti Callahan Henry, and River Jordan (I’ve actually known River for about 20 years – we went to college together.) Lots more -- prolly some of your faves, too...

My blog entry for today is archived here.

Oh that is a great blog! I agree. We in the south are "unique." And yeah, wierd. Remember Julia Sugarbaker (Designing Women) saying, "Here in the south we don't hide our crazy relatives in the attic. We put them on the front porch so everyone can see them." I suppose that goes for neighbors, too. Front porch, newspaper, novel, they fit everywhere.

Yes, the disclaimer that goes on a lot where I live (in the south) when something seems too good/strange/fabricated to be true is, "And this is NOT a preacher story."

Moon Pies. . .Chicken Dressers. . .Lying Ministers. . .a southern heritage of which to be proud.

I'm remembering your international Swedish (Swiss?) gerbil-picture-stealing ring!
