Posted by joshilyn at December 2, 2005 5:34 PMIn reading a few of your posts here and there, I must say that I'm impressed by your ramblings. I know you are a published writer (I like being crowned King Of The Obvious on a daily basis, so I thought I'd get a good head start on today), but your ramblings sound like my personal ones that I never share for fear of some unkind retribution that I don't think I could bare at this moment in my life. I'm definately going to pick up your book. I love reading new, not so main-stream authors because, frankly, they have newer, better ideas about different subjects that is very refreshing. :)
Posted by: Brandy at December 4, 2005 2:36 AMI just finished reading ALL of your blog (I mean right back from beginning to end) as well as reading your book in one sitting - about 3 1/2 hours. Great book. Loved Lena.
I'm in Bangkok, Thailand where I teach English so, yes, your book is displayed prominently in Bangkok bookstores - I picked it up from the 'New In' shelf, which slap bang faces you as you walk in the store - can't miss it!
Loved your blog too as we have a lot in common. I'm a writer (although not published yet), a teacher, I play computer games (love NeverWinter Nights and Icewind Dale), I read voraciously and was thrilled to see most of my favorite authors mentioned on your list, and I'm an avid blogger.
If you get a chance, check out mine all about the trials and tribulations of living and teaching in Thailand.

Good luck with the next book. Can't wait to pick it up! :-)
Posted by: Michelle Topham at December 4, 2005 9:23 PMIn case you were wondering what happened to the bumbler who wanted her book inscribed "I Love Your Blog!", I WAS THERE. At the Alabama Booksmith (which I did not even know was there because I always go to the Little Professor Bookstore & I didn't know there were TWO independent bookstores in Homewood, I mean, what are the odds?)
ON SUNDAY. I could have sworn you said Dec. 4th!
(check brain for damage)
