What Maisy and I Did Today

They are melting! Because a snowman would have a very short life expectancy in Georgia. Anything with that much sugar on it and butter in it has an even shorter life expectancy in my house.

My fave is the fellow who has lost his nose. He is nonplussed! This is as Martha Stewart as I get—So I have showed you mine. NOW YOU SHOW ME YOURS.

  • I only bake when required. I prefer cooking with wild abandon. I do, however, make things. This year I learned that I can make clothing. I made my daughter’s weeping angel costume for Halloween. It was very involved, but fun! I made the wig, the wings, and the dress. I did not make the undershirt or the hoop undergarments.

That should link directly to the pic and not the whole post. I’m not trying to be THAT person, I swear.

  • Oh, but I do love the snowman who lost his nose. That cookie has a story, and not many cookies do.

  • I love this cookies! So. Cute.

Love the Mr Bill snowman @ top left.

  • No matter if some one searches for his essential thing, so he/she
wishes to be available that in detail, so that thing is maintained
    over here.

Cute! While I bake a lot, I don’t do decorated cookies. However, I DID just eat a chocolate shortbread cookie for breakfast.

I thought of you while I made my bourbon oatmeal raisin cookies this weekend 🙂

I made Laurie Colwin’s damp gingerbread and it was so good I immediately gave half of it away so I wouldn’t sit by the window, watching the snow fall, and eat the entire thing myself. I bet my kids would have preferred these cookies — I’ll have to try them this weekend.

My daughter, my sister and I made beautiful Swedish spritzes, and laughed like maniacs as you only do/can when spending time with people who love you and know you WAY too well!

  • Our failed gingerbread men are now gingersnaps. The pictures are blah. But the boys love them so… score.
