Comments: In Which I Am Certainly Not to be Trusted. SO Here is Sara. Trust Her.

Dude, I need to write a book. Just so that I can go hang out with you in the land of blue drinks and kitty porn poems.

ME too! Blue drinks and kitty porn! Please let me be your friend. I so would have petted your hair just like Kathy Griffin did to Celine Dion.

Up since 4 AM? Oh my goodness, Peach, how fabulously devoted to authoring you are!

*pet pet pet pet*

That link to the vodka stuff is not to be looked at if you are even remotely unstable, as I am. Is it lovely wonderful stuff?

And Sara, congratulations on being a kitty grandma...I think. I suspect Possum will present you with extraordinarily beautiful kittens that will immediately attach themselves in your heart with their little velcro-like claws. Your heart and your drapes, that is. But congratulations anyway!

I am far too old and out of shape and overweight to ride horses, but I used to do it and I loved it and I miss it, so ride again for me, please!

*is totally jealous*

Man, but kittens grow up fast these days. Can't turn your back on them for a minute. But they make for interesting poetry.

Kitty Porn, whoa those are some potent blue potables.

Pony was lunch? Ewwww. Didn't know you writer types were going to go all wildnerness survival-y on us.

Actually, it does sounds like lots of fun. Except that now you'll all be so sore from the pony rides that you won't be able to sit in the chair five minutes tomorrow!

Too. Much. Fun.

Can I come with you to Sara's and do the cooking for you? I can keep an eye on possum. I can drink blue drinks. I don't ride horsies, but I make good biscuits.

Oops, sorrry, I forgot to capitalize Possum. Sorry Kitteh.

Posted by Rhonda at December 13, 2007 10:12 PM

Possum can still be spayed. Any vet will do it for you to stop the overpopulation. Cute poem though.

It's weird to read this post because last week I read both "Between, Georgia" and Sara Gruen's "Water for Elephants". It was obviously vacation week--I can't normally scarf down 2 novels in a week, but I embrace the opportunity when it presents itself.

I had already read and loved "Gods in Alabama", and that's why I chose to buy Between. But, Gruen's book was purchased on a whim (I liked the cover and the little "tidbit" of info about the book)and it was fantastic.

Cool to read a blog from the two women who made my vacation special!
