Okay. I just gotta say it, you know I do. HAPPINES IS HAVING A WARM TWANG. Yeah, I know, Amy-GO's husband's head just exploded. Probably Mir's, too. *grins* Way cool on People for demonstrating such exquisite taste in audio book narrators. Yay, you!

Oh, and woman of the 50's? OMG, that's my mom to a tee!

I'm with you on the whole tying our identities up in our house thing. But the pants thing doesn't work for me either. I've decided to tie my identity to my hair color. Or maybe the size of my feet. Maybe I'll keep searching for something - I know! My cookies. I will definitely tie my identity to my chocolate chip cookies! I've found a winner (and the reason I can't tie my identity to my pant size.

Two S's in HAPPINESS, dang it.

So. How's the packing going?

*runs away quickly*

OOOOhhh I didn't say I was HAPPY with my pants size. ...pass the cookies.

I'm glad David asked about the packing because I was a-skeered to ask.

I think the FlyLady is a minion of Satan.

Congrats on your Warm Twang! :-)

warm twang. *suppresses giggles*

Love your warm twang! :)
I bought 'Between' on Saturday (went to the book shop special!) & can't wait to start it... xx

*snort* Warm twang. But the thing is, I listened to the clip and it is a twang! And warm! And I can't WAIT to listen to the whole thing. I'm about two-thirds done reading the book, and it's SO GOOD. Then I'll listen to you read it!

Joss no matter what frame of mind you are in, you're delightful...I would like to kiss up now so that I can get a wonderful inscription from you in my signed copy of Between...because it's the third and I know I am only 11 days away from a signed copy BY YOU, BY YOU, TRA LA LA...

O good, I have an excuse to buy People Magazine!

If I ask how the packing is going, will you throw a first edition on Between at my head? Please?

So, um, how's the packing going??? *grabs MoMMy's cookies* Here! Take the cookie! Don't attack me!

Personally, I tie my identity in with my shoulders.
And how big they are. Hmm, maybe I should take up cleaning...
HEY! I KNOW! I'll tie my identity in with how many books I can read! *grabs latest library stash*
Hmm. 17 books. Better get reading...
NOTE TO SELF: Actually READ your books. If they're anywhere near as good as your blog, they'll be great!

BTW, what was today's metaphor for Tog-Swiss? Hmm?
Something about a child who can't read, who's going to school for the first time, that you are desperately tutoring because you don't want him (or her. Just saying.) to humiliate himself (or herself)???
I think I'd better run... *runs frantically*

I base my identity and self worth solely on my red lace bra.

shoot-far-dang-it. I think I lost my warm twang a while back. running all over hellandhalfofgeorgia with the marine corps takes everything away.
Even my WarmTwang!

They are in a cult. THEY ARE.

I've already read (and loved) the print version of BG but had to invest in the audio version after you blogged about it. It's hysterical! I already know what's going to happen but am having deja vu with all the emotions I experienced when I read it. Your voices for the different characters keep making me laugh and now I'm not getting any work done. Thanks for taking the time to read it out loud. When do we get the director's cut with outtakes?

What's with the links?
Heard FlyLady on the radio a while ago. Scaaaaaary.
Anyway, my mum cleans the sink, not me. :)
And so what if clutter attracts clutter? Messiness indicates a creative mind, dontcha know?
