I suppose chopsticks are no good, either? *ducking*

(I've been lurking). When I lived over in that part of the country, I hated hated hated driving from Birmingham to Atlanta, especially if I had an early am appt. For some reason, the 1 hour time difference and the direction made me wake up two hours earlier just so I could be barely on time! Argh!

In other words, oh, can I sympathize!

Two possibilities:

1)My co-worker, the official Only Grownup In The Store, spent yesterday saying "giraffe" for "zebra" and (more crucially) "fives" for "ones." So it could be sunspots or the zeitgeist or the incidence of tentworms in Montana.

2)Any chance you're in the first draft of a book?

Soup. I recommend soup. No forks with soup.

Or we could just put a cork on the tines like in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels ;-)

Time zones get me everytime, Pretty Tulip!

I so wanted to go to Selma yesterday! I am not that far away from Selma, have never particularly wanted to go to Selma, but I was going to cause you were there.

But, alas, no Selma trip for me. I was at UAB Hospital in downtown Birmingham with my Mom. So, I know that took precedence over going to Selma.

To get really messed up on time, just try staying with someone over night on a cot in a hospital. It is like a whole 'nother world!

Joshilyn, I have the same problem in reverse. When I stay in Dothan, AL to meet with customers in Bainbrige, GA area. Although I live on EST time, it seems ungodly early in Alabama to make it across the state-line to be on-time in GA ... :(
Thankfully they like me enough that they no longer expect me at 7:30 AM EST ... and expect me around 10:00 AM even when I assure them I'll be there "early" around 8:30 - 9:00! I vote for UNI-TIME. How about you?

We almost moved to Selma. God stopped us. I must admit, I am sort of glad He did. LOL!

Sometime, when you are in B-Ham, we should meet in the middle and spend a day. It would be fun to see you again. Will you do a book tour for Between?

Joshilyn, my sister lives in Phenix City, AL, and her family operates on GEORGIA time. DRIVES ME NUTS!! My parents live in Huntsville, where they have the good sense to stick to the Central Time zone. So, when we go back to visit the family in Alabama I get confused as heck.
p.s. I'm a MomWriter (TM) and Alabama native (b. in Sylacauga and grew up in H'ville). Can't wait to read your book!

Sounds like the searches people come across to find the BTTS.

In the middle of all of those porn links, theres "Ani de Franco sheet music" (!?)
