Comments: Four Full Shoes

Those fancy shoes are gee-orgeous, but I bet they would be a real bitch to walk around Disney World in.

You should take the dough from the MBT shoes, buy the oh so very pretty black pumps, and have Mr. Husband make some kind of unbalancer doodad for the gym shoes you already own. Win-win!

Yes, I would much rather spend the money on pretty shoes too!

Or you could just file your feet down to the next smaller size that the shoe vendor has in stock.

The love of sexy fab shoes must run in the the family :) Hope you and yours had a great Christmas.

If I walked around on heels that high I bet I would be plenty unstable. Does that mean I get the toning benefits while looking fancy?

Good god. How high are those heels? I swear, I would fall on my face if I were to put them on - before I ever got a chance to take a step!

I bet if you wear those heels you'll be enough off balance that you'll get the same effect. PLUS a lot more attention! I think we're talking a win-win situation here.

LOVE my Masai. But follow the directions for just an hour the first day... really. I didn't, and regretted it!

hmmm..I can't decide which I like best...I love a good pair of Mary Janes, but I keep getting flashbacks of roots shoes...

oops, pushed "post" twice...my bad.

Posted by raine at January 5, 2010 11:21 PM

I'm so upset with myself for missing this post yesterday. I went directly to Five Full Plates because for once, I remembered it was Tuesday. My MBT shoes are the very ugly sandals but I wear them all year long. I especially like that I can wear them in the summertime and not wear socks. Yay! But when I went with Mother for her to purchase MBTs, I tried on these Mary Janes and I adored them. Really. But I thought I'd pull a sneaky fast one and just get sized in the store and order online at a discounted price but I forgot them until this post. Like you, I always thought if I was going to pay a lot for shoes they would be towering and sexy but I bet those pumps don't come with a company coupon for $65 sole replacement and reconditioning.
P.S. I have found MBT sizing to be a little different from the standard, but the MJs and the sandals I have were/are true to what I normally wear.

Well. Lots of Sale has them on ebay.

Also I just found a new auction on ebay in MY size for less than a 100 bucks. *hangs self*

Those are probably the prettiest shoes I have ever seen! Too bad prior high heel wear has given me bunions that preclude beautiful shoes like these.

I second Ebay, for the hard to find sizes, and for the very secret paypal account that mr hubby has no idea how much money is there, no idea how much I'm spending ... works for me! ;)

Q: What do those two pairs of shoes have in common?

A: They both look like a broken ankle to me.

Posted by JMixx at January 8, 2010 9:05 AM

They are also both black.

They are also RIDICULOUSLY OIVERPRICED.

Gotcha. Thanks. Seems they have them at Sierra Trading Post. I have a Sierra Trading Post in Reno and I'm totally itching for a girl's shopping day there. So I'll add it to my list of things to watch for.
