Comments: In Which My Friends are Crafty. And Weird.

Totally a conversation I could have had. Glad there is a record for posterity.

Me too. It sounds like some conversations I've had with my sister.

Lincoln is a famous Aspie, you know. Aspies are hot! ;)

You just made me google Polk. He was sort of cute.

Posted by heather at November 24, 2009 9:50 AM

I'm off to Google Polk...

Posted by Jill W. at November 24, 2009 10:51 AM

I think Polk just jumped to the top of the hot search list, because I went and Googled him too. You're right -- he's totally datable! Although I must admit, Lincoln was hot! You're absolutely right about that.

But is he as cute as that turtle? No, I didn't think so either.

Polk looks like an older version of Mr. Darcy- kinda broody.

Woodrow Wilson's got kind of a Peter O'Toole-ish appeal...

I think it's Polk's popped collar. He's like... predsidential AND too cool for school at the same time.

OK, you just made my lo mein and my nose make friends in an inappropriate manner! I pink fluffy heart you and Karen!!!

I was sure I was going to be spanked in the head for making light with the presidentialnesses, but you people are all as head-whacked as me.

Hi, Joss - I haven't been around your blog in a while but I wanted to say WOW I CANNOT WAIT FOR BACKSEAT SAINTS! I just popped by its page and it sounds so compelling and the cover is just beautiful! I want that dress. :)

Haha I wish I had more conversations like that ;)

I would consider kicking it with Polk, but he would totally have to lose the David Carradine hairdon't.

Also, in totally small world news, i just realized that i went to high school with Amy Go's husband.

Seriously funny - I mean reading this made me snort from laughing. I have NEVER and I repeat NEVER googled images of dead presidents to check out their hotness factor. You, my friend, are deliciously disturbed! Procrastination at its most golden and shiny.

Posted by Les at November 25, 2009 12:19 AM

OK I admit it...I just went and googled Polk to see what all the hubub was you suppose the collar was to hold up a neck stiff from sitting and posing for too long? I have to give it to the Penny Man - he has it ALL over Polk.

Posted by Les in AZ at November 25, 2009 12:24 AM

I spent all afternoon at work googling presidents. Not only is it good to keep you from writing but from other things, too. :)

Posted by Nikki at November 25, 2009 2:36 AM

Now you've got us ALL doing it! Disrespectful, retroactive crushes. ;-)

Posted by Brigitte at November 25, 2009 6:43 AM

Poor Roosevelt didn't even get a mention.

Posted by Susan at November 25, 2009 12:19 PM

I must be very boring, you two way worry me.
